Michelle is an author of two books, The Sassy Investor and Investing for Teens: How to Save, Invest, and Grow Money.

She began her career in investment banking, having spent 7 years working in capital markets in Toronto before transitioning into the financial education and financial planning space.

She has spent the last 8 years helping Canadians, from new divorcees to retirees build meaningful, unbiased financial plans to help them reach their financial goals.

Michelle graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree, specializing in finance, and obtained the CFA designation in 2014. She is currently a member of the University of Waterloo Alumni Council.

Outside of the office, she enjoys soccer, hot yoga, golf, playing the piano, and spending time with her friends and family.

She has made appearances on CTV and CP24, and is very active on social media, including TikTok, and Instagram.
