Asher was born in Toronto, and studied at the University of Western Ontario. He and his wife Roanna have a son and daughter.
Shortly after graduation, he began working at head office for one of the largest retail conglomerates in Canada, ultimately specializing in Management Information Systems. Subsequently, he moved to another specialty retailer to take on a more senior role overseeing all of the Point of Sale, Retail, Wholesale, Product development and Accounting system operations as well as new system implementations.
After a number of years in this specialized area, he decided to make the move into Financial Services and joined his family’s business which focused on Holistic Planning, as well as Investment and Insurance Planning. Soon after, the business was restructured into a partnership – Tward & Associates. After a few years, Asher took on a leadership role and set his sights on building a financial services firm with a far greater reach. Together with the other founding partners, who possessed a similar vision, he helped to construct TriDelta. All of the prior business units have now been amalgamated into TriDelta, which is now his prime focus.
Asher is a leader in the Canadian Estate Planning industry. In addition to developing and consulting on wealth building strategies with legal and accounting professionals, Asher is often quoted in the press such as the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Money Sense magazine. He is also an integral resource to all of his colleagues at TriDelta.
Asher brings the rare ability to encompass and incorporate tax, insurance, trust, corporate planning and estate solutions for the benefit of his clients.
