Lorne joined TriDelta in July 2013. Lorne works directly with clients to achieve their financial goals through listening to their concerns, focusing on tax efficiency and cash flow needs to build customized portfolios and financial plans. Lorne is a frequent commentator on the Business News Network (BNN) and Globe and Mail. He is a registered portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Zeiler has been an instructor at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University on Financial Planning and Ethics in Finance since 2011.
Lorne has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Zeiler has worked as a Vice President, Investment Funds at Brompton Funds where he was responsible for product development, investor relations, marketing, research and trading. He was a Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Cash and Treasury Management for the Bank of Nova Scotia and most recently worked as a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at a leading Canadian wealth management firm.
Lorne received his International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a focus on economics and international business and honours Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. Mr. Zeiler was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001 and is a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
Lorne takes great pride in giving back to the community. He is a volunteer Big Brother for Jewish Family and Child Services and is a former member of both the Investment Committee of North York General Hospital and the Advisory Committee for the Financial and Accounting Program at Seneca College.
Lorne most enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys writing (authoring Hearts of Gold in 2004, as well as contributing to the CFA Digest, Report on Business and Canadian Treasurer), biking, playing tennis, and working on the home garden.
