Why we started TriDelta Financial
I can't tell you the number of times I have heard people complain about their financial advisor. The complaints are sometimes advice-related and sometimes service-related, but almost always relate to value and trust.
Over my career, I have seen some good investment markets and some bad ones, but I have yet to see someone who can provide great investment performance consistently. This is one area that a financial advisor can't control.
What they can control is the service that they provide, the guidance and peace of mind that they offer, and a financial road map that is appropriate for each individual client.
Unfortunately, most advisors do not achieve this level of value and trust for three reasons:
- Their compensation rewards them for things that benefit their company but not their client.
- Their focus is on their next big client, and as a result you do not receive the time and attention that you deserve.
- They focus on the investment and not the financial road map. Without a broader plan, most clients don't really know whether they are doing well or poorly and most importantly, they don't know if they are on track to achieve their goals.
We have built TriDelta Financial with a goal of aligning the interests of the client with the interests of the Financial Planner and the Company. In this way, we are all working as part of the same team. It also allows us to attract the type of professional financial planners who love their job most when they are able to help their client achieve their dreams.
