Frank Wiginton, CFP, FMA, CIM, FCS Senior Financial Planner
Frank was born in Saskatchewan, and grew up in Ottawa before moving to Toronto to start his career in financial services. With a background in computer engineering and business management, Frank has a strong belief in continuing education. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). He continues his studies towards the Trusts and Estate Practitioners (TEP) designation.
Frank comes from a family with strong social values and a desire to help others. He too has these values, which he applies to all aspects of his life, including work. Frank believes everyone deserves financial peace of mind and a better quality of life.
It was this belief that led him to leave the corporate environment and strike out on his own to “do it better!” Working on his own as a fee-for-advice financial planner, Frank enjoyed much success and got personal satisfaction by helping others through unbiased financial planning.
Frank noticed an increased demand by his clients for more than a detailed plan. Clients wanted a trusted and reliable financial partner to navigate the financial landscape, implement, and monitor the solutions. He researched over 400 companies in the financial services industry before joining TriDelta Financial Partners. We were selected because of our unique approach to unbiased financial solutions through holistic financial planning, which was a natural fit with his beliefs and key to everyone’s success.
Frank enjoys writing articles, developing and teaching educational seminars on a variety of financial planning topics. He is also regularly interviewed for and quoted in the popular print media and regularly appears on BNN television.
Having worked as a loans officer, investment advisor, and portfolio manager, Frank can help you manage both sides of the balance sheet.
Frank and his wife share many passions including sailing, hiking, skiing, traveling, learning about new cultures, and meeting people.
